Hudson-isms

Now that Hudson is talking soooooo good...I just have to write down a few of the things I want to remember that just make me smile and laugh. Right now, he likes to add an 's' to the beginning of some words...these are my favorites:
*Smarshmellows
*Stree (Three)
*Strapped (As in "I'm strapped in"--trapped)
*Stres (tres...all of his spanish words make me laugh, because he actually says them pretty well with a good accent!)
We have also learned to watch what we say in front of him because he doesn't miss a thing. Both of these sayings came from Talen (thank goodness he didn't swear!):
-Hudson has gone to the Arizona Strip quite a bit with Talen and his grandpa, and one time Talen had to get out of the truck to open a gate(which he called a 'dang gate')...now any gate Hudson sees is a 'dang gate'.
-Just recently Talen sold his old black truck, which many times he's called stupid...and there is also a black truck on our street that is always playing music waaaaay to loud that has also been called stupid...hence, every black truck we see is now a 'stupid black truck'. (Stupid is one of my least favorite words, so I am going to try and get this one to stop).
Last, but certainly not least (because there are way too many Hudson-isms to post here), he has gotten into the habit of saying 'ya' instead of 'you'. It would be fine if it were just in sentences where the slang would sound okay...but he uses it for every time 'you' should be said. It's pretty hillarious and we have no idea where he got it from...I guess Talen and I need to start paying attention to how much slang we use around him!

Happy Easter!!!

We had a really fun Easter, and thankfully, Talen didn't get called out on Sunday once! Hudson and I colored some eggs on Saturday to leave out for the Easter Bunny:
He wanted one in each color for each member of our family.
I attempted to write the first letter of each of our names on the eggs, but they were still hot when I did it so the crayon kind of melted...then it kind of came off in the food coloring. Oh well!
Easter morning! We had the living room covered in eggs to be found.
Boston even really got in on the action and found some of the hardest hidden eggs!
The boys with their goods.
Every year I want to take a picture of the boys before church, but apparently it just doesn't happen. This is just before we left to grandma and grandpa's house for dinner and the next egg hunt.
Hudson and Aunt Dally after the big egg hunt with all the cousins...so cute!
Last year we got the cutest picture with all the kids and grandpa. This year was a little more difficult...all the little ones were crying and the big ones were trying to run away! This was the best shot I got of them!
