It's begun...

...potty training, hooray! This morning Hudson found a present in the bathroom and it was a doll with a potty. He was quite excited about it, but he didn't realize what it was all about. Then the doll started peeing everywhere and even pooping, so I helped him teach the doll how to use the potty. After it seemed like he got the picture, he found another present in the bathroom filled with big kid underpants! This he was excited about...he pulled out the Mater "Cars" underpants and wanted them on right away. Well, he peed in them about as soon as they were pulled all the way up...he was kind of sad about having to take Mater off. We went through the first 4 pairs of underwear in about 30 minutes! I was a little discouraged about that, but I knew I couldn't give in and put a diaper back on him. Well, his fifth pair lasted almost the rest of the day! He even woke up dry from his nap, and only had one little accident in the afternoon. By the end of the day I felt a little better. Before bed, we celebrated by 'throwing away' the rest of his diapers and opening a few little presents. I hope that he will continue to do as good as he did today...I'm so proud of him!

I'm Finished!!

...2 days later. I won't give anything away for people who haven't read it or finished it yet, but I will say it was unexpected. Good...but unexpected.
