Catching Up

I've been slacking this month, so this post will just be a bunch of pictures from the past month.
Boston is 6 months now!! I can't believe how fast it has gone. At his doctor's appointment he weighed 18 lbs. 10 oz. (72%) and was 27 1/2 in. (90%). I'm just happy that he doesn't have to have any more shots until he's a year! We've started feeding him baby food now, and the picture is of his first taste of green beans. I can't blame him for not liking it right away, if they taste as bad as they smell!
This picture is for their Uncle Bull. Hudson has always been a tractor and trucks boy, but now his interests have widened a little to include corrals and farm animals. Uncle Bull would be proud!
Hudson has loved the water this summer. He doesn't seem to have much fear of the water, but just enough to keep him from jumping in the deep end by himself and things like that!

Hudson in Grandpa Jeff's 'big truck'. That's always a highlight for Hudson when we're up visiting my family.

Hudson and his cousins (my sister's kids). He loves visiting them and playing with them. It's not very often that they all are in the same place at the same time.

The Bundy Reunion

Ever since I married into the Bundy family, my 4th of July's have all been reserved to go to the Bundy Reunion, and will be for the rest of my life. There are no more Stadium of Fire concerts, no BBQ's with my side of the family, and absolutely no fire works. But, I don't mind because I really love going camping with my family along with the hundreds and hundreds of other Bundy's that make the trip out to Mt. Trumbull, AZ every year. It is an amazing sight to me, even after the 6 years that I have gone. I do have to admit that it is much more of a challenge to go now that we have kids, but it is worth every bit of frustration for the memories made.
Hudson had an absolute blast this year. I was so worried that we wouldn't be able to keep him from running away from our camp and getting lost, but the big pile of gravel that his uncle Jared brought out kept him and all the kids busy and close by. He also loved playing on the swings and going for rides on the four-wheeler. When it was time to go home, he kept saying "no, no, no!" I think he'll be looking forward to the next Bundy Reunion all year long!

Boston did really good this weekend considering we weren't at home. He still took really good naps and slept okay at night...he actually slept better than Hudson! I think he enjoyed being outside so much, because he was always looking around at everything.
Hudson was so excited for the races this year. He's not the fastest runner, but he was totally focused on running to his dad. He took 2nd in his race and I took 3rd in mine. Talen didn't place, but was totally ecstatic about beating his cousin.
