The stork came early

Just by a week, but I'll take it! Boston William Bundy was born on Friday, January 25th at 1:04 am. He weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 18 inches long. The delivery was fairly easy and much shorter this time, but he didn't plan his arrival very well...it was very early, and Talen and I were so tired. Talen managed to get a couple hours of sleep here and there, but I didn't get any til we got home from the hospital. Boston was just perfect in the hospital, just sleeping and eating...and pooping like crazy! When we got home and finally tried going to bed, he decided that he didn't want to sleep any more, but wanted to eat and eat and eat, until he got a tummy ache. By the time we got that taken care of, it was about 1 o'clock, and he slept until 4:45. That was the time when I got about 3 hours myslef...the only sleep I got of the night! Talen finally took him out into the living room at 7, so I could sleep a little longer, and Hudson woke up shortly after. I came out around 8 and found Talen reading books to Hudson and Boston on the couch. He looked like he had everything under control and I thought to myself that I should have stayed in bed longer! Today has been pretty smooth, so hopefully tonight will go better than last night. Hudson has just loved having the baby here...I think he even understands that it's the same baby that was in my tummy for so long. When he decides that he wants to hold him, he tries to pick him up all by himself. He doesn't understand, at all, that he has to be gentle with the baby. And he is very curious about me nursing him. But, overall, I get the impression that he wants to keep him. I think we have all decided that he is a keeper. We are so lucky to have another little boy in our family and we just love Boston so much!
